Join us for a meander around the town forest, exploring weeds, plants, and shrubs.

Join herbalist Mo Katz-Christy for a meander around the town forest. We will meet at the town forest parking lot, located at 368 Grove Street in Reading. We will explore weeds and cultivated plants, trees and shrubs, and have lots of space for questions and conversation. Bring a notebook if you like! There will be NO foraging. 

This event will take place outdoors at the town forest, rain or shine. We will reschedule if there are thunderstorms and lightning. Please plan to wear weather appropriate clothes and comfortable shoes. The town forest includes stairs and an uneven dirt path. 

Registration required. We recommend this program for ages 6 and up. Adults of all ages are welcome to attend.

There is a parking lot near 368 Grove Street. If the parking lot is full, please take a right onto Strout Avenue off Grove Street, take a right into the compost, continuing up the hill, and park in the flat gravel areas. Please do not go up the hill to the left and do not block the road into the Town Forest. Please see the map below for additional parking instructions.
