Proposition 2 1/2 Override Information Forum

Location: Reading Town Common (16 Lowell Street)

Town Manager Jayne Wellman and School Superintendent Dr. Henry Turner will host a table on the Town Common to answer questions about the upcoming FY28 override.

During this presentation, you'll learn what an override is, why the Town is considering it, and how it could affect Town and School services, operations, and finances. Staff will also provide an overview of the community's long-term financial outlook and explain what residents need to know ahead of the vote.

Ask your questions; this is your opportunity to ask questions and better understand the proposal.
