All books, new or old, finished or newly opened, are welcome. Bring a folding chair to read outside on the lawn or grab a seat inside the library.

Silent Reading parties are a simple concept:

• Come to the library with whatever book you're currently enjoying

• Read it in silence, in the company of other Reading readers

• Gather in the Community Room to enjoy refreshments and talk with others about your book(s).

Recommended reads will become a "Patron Summer Picks" list to share with the community. Attendees will be entered into a raffle for a summer camp-themed giveaway, and an extra entry into summer reading program prize raffles for gift cards to local businesses.
