The Town Clerk’s Office has mailed the 2026 Annual Census, which includes your dog licensing worksheet. Residents are reminded that all dogs in Reading must be licensed by March 31, 2026.

Dog licensing applications are due March 31 and are available through the Town’s online portal.
Completed census and dog licensing forms may be returned:
By mail
In person at the Town Clerk’s Office
Using the white drop box outside Town Hall
Licensing your dog helps keep contact information up to date and supports public health and safety efforts in the community.

Reminder: upcoming water & tax bills
Residents should take note of several upcoming bill mailings and due dates:
Water bills
Water bills will be mailed on March 9, 2026, and are due April 15, 2026.
Excise tax bills
Excise tax bills have been mailed and are due March 11, 2026.
Real Estate/Personal Property tax bills
Real Estate and Personal Property tax bills will be mailed on March 31, 2026, and are due May 4, 2026.
Residents are encouraged to review these dates and plan accordingly.
