State senators cite Koh’s record of public service and commitment to lowering costs, protecting health care, and standing up to the Trump administration.
Peabody, MA – Today, six Democratic State Senators representing Massachusetts’ Sixth Congressional District announced their endorsement of Dan Koh in the general election.
Koh’s endorsers point to his record of public service and his readiness to take on the Trump administration. “We need leaders who will stand up to the Trump administration and fight for the people they represent,” said State Sen. Brendan Crighton. State Sen. Mike Barrett said, “the Massachusetts economy has to ready itself for a kind of relaunch post-Trump. Dan is singularly equipped to help us build back job sectors, recover grants, and reduce regional costs.” Sen. Joan Lovely said Koh “will bring the energy, experience, and collaborative spirit we need in Washington to lower costs, protect access to health care, and make sure every family has a fair shot.” Sen. Cindy Friedman added, “Dan has the smarts and values we need right now to be effective in this fight.” Sen. Barry Finegold emphasized the importance of “having a representative who understands our communities and will fight for the families who call them home.” Sen. Jason Lewis said, “Dan brings the leadership and vision needed to champion living wages, healthcare access, and economic opportunity for working families.”
Koh, who has centered his campaign on lowering costs for working families and taking on the Trump administration’s corruption, emphasized the importance of strong leadership and a shared commitment to delivering for Massachusetts.
“I’m incredibly grateful to have the support of so many leaders in the State Senate,” Dan said. “Now more than ever, Democrats must come together to fight for the people we represent. I look forward to working alongside leaders across the district to lower costs, protect health care, and defend our democracy. Together, we’ll build the momentum we need to win in November and deliver real results for the people of the Sixth District and beyond.”
Koh is the Democratic nominee for Massachusetts’ Sixth Congressional District. He is endorsed by President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, Secretary Pete Buttigieg, and more than 100 local and national elected officials, unions, and community leaders. His campaign has raised more than $5.5 million since launch, a record for a Massachusetts House candidate.
