Guided Plant Walk in Reading Town Forest with expert Walter Kittredge

Nature enthusiasts and curious learners are invited to join a special guided hike in the Reading Town Forest with plant expert Walter Kittredge. The walk will take place on Saturday, September 20th, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, starting at the 371 Grove Street parking lot.

About Walter Kittredge

Walter Kittredge began an entirely new venture in 2020 after retiring from a 44-year career as a Curatorial Assistant at the world-renowned Harvard University Herbaria. Following his retirement, he launched a native plant nursery called Oakhaven Sanctuary. As a botanist, Walter continues to share his expertise by supporting the growing interest in native plants and conducting ongoing research on local floristics.
