Reading has a new Constituent Services Officer. As of August 1, Katie Gabriello, who serves as the town’s Director of Operations, has added the role to her responsibilities. Many residents may already know her from her work overseeing town operations.

Under the Town Charter, Reading designates a Constituent Services Officer, formerly known as Ombudsman, to assist residents in their contacts and dealings with the town, its officials, and its boards and committees. The Town Manager appoints the officer to the role.

Residents can reach Gabriello at KGabriello@ReadingMA.gov or by phone at 781-942-6696. More information is available on the town’s Constituent Services Officer webpage.
