Reading Community Singers ~ 3 OPEN Rehearsals

Reading Community Singers has three OPEN rehearsals for their 2026 Spring Concert ~ on Tuesday, January 27th, and February 3rd & 10th, from 7:30 to 9:30 at Old South United Methodist Church.  Please arrive early for check-in and to receive your music.  New and Returning Singers may attend these OPEN rehearsals to “try RCS out”, before registering.

The theme of the Spring Concert is “As the Seasons Turn”, and will include arrangements of “Over the Rainbow”, “Seasons of Love” and Vocal Selections from “Wicked”.

Founded in 1919, Reading Community Singers is a non-audition chorus and New Members are always welcome ~ of every voice and experience level, ages 18 to whatever!  And as with most choruses – RCS is always looking for “just a few more good men”!  They only ask that Singers can carry a tune and match pitch – both of which are much easier to do working together as a chorus of 50 or more singers! Commitment to attending rehearsals is also a must.

Elijah Botkin is returning for his fourth season as Artistic Director for the Spring Concert.  Joe Beninati will again be the Rehearsal and Concert Accompanist.

Rehearsals continue every Tuesday, with the Concert on Saturday, May 9 at 7:30 pm, at Reading Memorial High School.

Online Registration is now open, or you can Register in Person at these OPEN rehearsals. For more info about Rehearsals, this Concert, or RCS in general, find us on Facebook, go to www.ReadingCommunitySingers.org, or send an email to info@ReadingCommunitySingers.org
