Reading Community Singers to present spring concert “As the Seasons Turn”

The Reading Community Singers (RCS) will welcome the community to their annual spring concert, As the Seasons Turn, on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 7:30 pm at Reading Memorial High School Performing Arts Center.

Led by Artistic Director Elijah Botkin and accompanied by Joe Beninati and a five-piece band, the concert will feature a wide-ranging program designed to appeal to audiences of all ages.

A mix of classic and contemporary favorites

This year’s performance will highlight a “timeless” selection of music, blending well-known classics with modern favorites. The program includes:

  • Time After Time by Cindy Lauper

  • Seasons of Love from Rent

  • Irving Berlin’s Blue Skies

  • Choral selections from Wicked

Featuring a rising talent

The concert will also showcase Allison Hall of Wilmington, the 2026 recipient of the Reading Community Singers Annual Scholarship, in a special featured performance.

Tickets are available through chorus members, online, and at the door. Discounts are offered for seniors and students, and children under 5 are admitted free.
