Reading Public Library is your place to connect, create, and learn throughout the spring
Reading Public Library (RPL), Reading, MA—Spring is coming–it’s time to shake off the winter blahs! This spring the Library features programs designed to inspire and delight all ages. Take advantage of the longer days to register or drop-in for some creative time at a Crochet & Fiber Arts Meet-Up or try your hand at crafting DIY coasters from maps.
If playing games is more your style, we’re excited to offer a Maj Jongg Meet-Up this spring. No registration required, so bring your friends and hone your skills! Teens in grades 6-12 can join our monthly Video Game Hangout to play Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros.
In addition to the usual full slate of storytimes in the Children’s Room, BINGO Bananza brings fun & prizes to April vacation week for kids in grades K-6. Giant Candy Land returns for more vacation week activities.
At our next Community Jewelry and Accessories Swap on April 11 you can embrace the no-buy trend and freshen up your spring look at the same time. Donations accepted from April 1 - 10.
Explore the Library of Things collection to make the most of the spring days. Is decluttering on your calendar? We can help with a photo scanner, paper shredder, and digitizing equipment. For fun, there’s a circulating Mah Jongg set, ukulele, and of course, sewing machines. Stop by and see what RPL has to offer this spring.
