Reminder: override Q&A session tonight

Tonight’s your chance to ask questions directly about Reading’s proposed FY28 operational override. Town Manager Jayne Wellman and Superintendent Dr. Henry Turner will host a virtual Q&A session on Zoom from 6:30 to 7:30 pm, taking residents’ questions rather than delivering a formal presentation.

This is the third session in the town’s series of override information sessions, following events on August 6 and August 18. Recordings of those earlier sessions are available on RCTV’s Youtube page along with our own coverage for anyone who wants to catch up beforehand.

How to join

Registration is required to join tonight’s Zoom session — register here. Residents who can’t attend live or who’d rather submit a question in advance can email Override@ReadingMA.gov. More background on the proposal is available on the town’s FY28 Tax Override webpage.
