Street sweeping begins the week of October 6

The Town of Reading will begin the fall street sweeping program the week of October 6, 2025.

Residents are reminded not to blow leaves into the street or leave yard waste in piles. The sweepers are unable to pick them up, and debris left in the roadway can clog storm drains and create unsafe conditions.

For those looking to dispose of leaves, curbside pickup of bagged leaves will be available the week of October 20, 2025.
