This fall, explore the Library’s health clinics, programs, and workshops and stay well all year!

Reading Public Library (RPL), Reading, MA—This fall, stop by the Library to sign up for a Town of Reading flu vaccine clinic, a hearing screening, or drop by for a walk-in blood pressure check. And, we have programs to help you understand Medicare, workshops on CPR, and resources located in the Health Nook.

The Health Nook, found on the first floor, is a place to learn about and take charge of your health. You can research health conditions, borrow kits with information on sensitive topics, and find health literacy resources. Professional library staff are available for support. Healing Kits are designed to assist individuals and families facing difficult circumstances or those helping someone in need. Each kit features carefully curated books for all age groups, information on community resources, recommended reading lists, therapeutic activity suggestions, and a personal journal for reflection.
