Town and School officials to hold Q&A on FY28 override on Wednesday

Town of Reading and Reading Public School officials will hold a question-and-answer session on Reading’s financial outlook and the proposed FY28 override this Wednesday, September 30, from noon to 1 pm.

Who will be there

Town Manager Jayne Wellman and Superintendent Dr. Henry Turner are setting aside the hour to answer resident questions and share information, continuing a format they used last month. This week’s session will also include representatives from the Reading Fire Department and the Reading Police Department, who will be on hand to answer questions.

How to join

The session will be held virtually over Zoom.

Residents can also submit in advance by emailing Override@ReadingMA.gov and can find more information on the town’s FY28 Tax Override webpage.
