LtE: Support for Tony D’Arezzo on the Select Board
To the Editor,
I am pleased to support Tony D’Arezzo for Select Board in Reading.
Tony brings decades of firsthand experience and a deep commitment to our community. As a longtime resident who raised his family here, he understands what makes Reading special—and the importance of preserving that character while planning thoughtfully for the future.
Through his service as a Town Meeting member since 2017 and his seven years on the Community Planning and Development Commission (CPDC), Tony has consistently demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and a strong work ethic. He comes to meetings prepared, asks thoughtful questions, and focuses on the facts. Just as importantly, he listens—to residents, to experts, and to differing viewpoints—before helping to shape balanced, informed decisions.
Tony also understands how challenging it can be for residents to navigate development proposals and town processes. His experience has made him a steady and approachable voice for neighbors, ensuring that concerns are heard and impacts are carefully considered while still supporting responsible growth.
As Reading faces important decisions in the years ahead—including town leadership changes, financial considerations, and key development issues—we need leaders who will stay focused on the issues, not preconceived positions. Tony’s background in collaborative leadership and problem-solving, combined with his commitment to fairness and respect, make him an excellent choice.
Tony will also be joining us for a Meet & Greet this Thursday, April 2, from 6:30–7:30 PM at 48 Maple Ridge Road. Neighbors are welcome to stop by, meet Tony, and hear more about his vision for Reading.
I encourage residents to learn more about Tony D’Arezzo at VoteDArezzo.org and to vote on April 7.
Sincerely,
Tom & Sarah Brukilacchio
