CATO – The Coalition of Us Releases 2026 Black History Month “Bingo Card” to Encourage Learning, Celebration, and Action
READING, MA — CATO – The Coalition of Us (CATO), a Reading-based social justice organization dedicated to advancing racial justice for Black and brown people, has released a new Black History Month “Bingo Card” designed to help community members engage in meaningful, accessible ways throughout February.
The bingo card includes a range of activities—such as reading, watching, attending local events, supporting Black-owned businesses, and learning about civil rights history—along with links to curated resources that make it easy for individuals, families, classrooms, and workplaces to participate.
It is a simple, welcoming tool that encourages people to be involved in ways that fit their lives. Each square includes a clickable link to resources and suggested activities. The card is also printer-friendly, with all linked resources accessible by scanning the QR code included on the PDF.
CATO created the bingo card to support a broader vision of building a more equitable community in Reading and surrounding areas. It is part of the organization’s core pillar to educate the community about historical and present-day human and civil rights, including the lived experiences of Black and brown communities.
The Black History Month bingo card is free to use and share, and CATO encourages local organizations, schools, faith communities, and businesses to distribute it widely.
