Connected Reading: An Open House for Our Community

Calling All Reading Residents! Whether you're a new resident, remember the days of The Atlantic, or arrived sometime in between, you’re welcome to Connected Reading: An Open House for Our Community on Tuesday, October 13, from 5 to 7 pm at the Reading Public Library.

Join the Reading Public Library, the Town of Reading, and the Reading-North Reading Chamber of Commerce for this free drop-in event and:

  • Meet Representatives from town government and volunteer-led committees, schools, youth & faith-based groups, and community organizations.

  • Discover Reading's many resources, services, programs, and events.

  • Get your Flu Shot from the Reading Public Health Nurse.

  • Enjoy pizza and cookies, and mingle with your neighbors!

  • The first 50 attendees will receive a welcome bag from the Reading-North Reading Chamber of Commerce, filled with information and gifts from local businesses (one welcome bag per family, please!)

If you represent a Town Department or local nonprofit and want to participate, please get in touch with the library. The registration deadline is Tuesday, October 6.

Reading-North Reading Chamber of Commerce Members interested in including their materials in the welcome bag should contact Chamber Marketing Coordinator Jamie Bradley at Jamie@RNRChamber.com.

Translation services will be available.
