Dan Koh launches “Do The Work” PAC to help retake the house
Peabody, MA – Today, Dan Koh, the Democratic nominee for Congress in Massachusetts' Sixth District, announced the launch of his leadership PAC, "Do the Work PAC." The PAC will help elect Democrats retake the House Majority in November.
"I'm deeply humbled to be the Democratic nominee for Congress in the Sixth District — but our fight is just getting started,” Koh said. “Democrats in Massachusetts and across the country need the resources to compete and win. We built something real here by doing the work, town by town. Now it's time to bring that same energy to help retake the House majority, empower our local leaders, and fight back against the blatant corruption of this administration. That's why we're launching Do the Work PAC.”
Koh's campaign has set fundraising records for the party this cycle, raising over $4.5 million since launch, with supporters giving a median contribution of $15 and individuals from 100% of the cities and towns in the district. Koh has not accepted a dime of corporate PAC money, a pledge he says reflects his commitment to getting corporate influence out of politics. Separately, Koh announced a personal commitment to strengthening the Democratic party's local backbone: he will support each of the Democratic city and town committees across the Sixth District's 39 communities.
"We spent eleven months building a movement from the ground up in Massachusetts' Sixth District, from local volunteers to community and labor leaders across the North Shore. I've also been lucky to have the support of incredible national leaders, from Secretary Marty Walsh and Secretary Pete Buttigieg to Vice President Kamala Harris and President Joe Biden. It's time to pay that support forward."
A dad of two young kids and the son of a Korean-Lebanese immigrant family, Koh takes the fight against our affordability crisis and MAGA extremism personally. His story is only possible in a proudly diverse America. Koh will bring his experience in the White House, Boston City Hall, and on the Andover Select Board to Congress to deliver for families on day one.
