Override forum returns Saturday at Reading Public Library

The town and Reading Public Schools will hold the second of this week’s public forums on the proposed FY28 Proposition 2 ½ override today, Saturday, September 19, at 11:00 am at the Reading Public Library.

RCTV will be on site to record the session, which will be uploaded afterward for residents who are unable to attend in person. The forum follows an earlier session held on Wednesday at Reading Town Hall as part of the town’s ongoing effort to inform residents ahead of the November ballot question.

Residents with questions about the proposed override can submit them to Override@ReadingMA.gov. Town officials thanked residents who have participated in the conversation so far and encouraged the community to keep watching, learning, and asking questions as the process continues.
