Early in-person voting available at Reading Town Hall for April election

Residents planning to vote in the upcoming election will have several opportunities to cast their ballots early.
In-person early voting will be available at Reading Town Hall during the following dates and times:
Saturday, March 28, 2026, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Monday, March 30, 2026, 7:30 am - 5:30 pm
Tuesday, March 31, 2026, 7:30 am - 7:00 pm
Wednesday, April 1, 2026, 7:30 am - 5:30 pm
Thursday, April 2, 2026, 7:30 am - 5:30 pm
Town officials note that early voting will only be available at Town Hall.
Key election deadlines
Residents should be aware of several important deadlines ahead of the election:
Last day to register to vote: March 28, 2026, by 5:00 pm
Deadline to request a vote-by-mail ballot to be mailed: March 31, 2026, by 5:00 pm
Deadline to request an absentee ballot to be mailed: March 31, 2026, by 5:00 pm
Deadline to request an absentee ballot in person: April 6, 2026, by 12:00 pm
Election Day voting location
On Election Day, Tuesday, April 7, voting will take place exclusively at the Reading Memorial High School Hawkes Fieldhouse.
Early voting provides residents with a flexible option to vote ahead of Election Day and can help reduce wait times at polling locations.
