Feed the Demogorgon: Stranger Things Display Collects for Reading Food Pantry

Graphic reading "Stranger Things Food Pantry Fundraiser" over a lit-up house at dusk decorated with a pink Demogorgon figure, spiderwebs, and a "Welcome to Hawkins" sign.

The lights are on! The Upside Down has opened at our house, 71 Tennyson Road in Reading, and the Haley’s are inviting everyone to stop by Reading’s biggest Stranger Things display. You’re welcome to visit during the day, but it’s best after dark, when the lights are on every night from 6 to 10 p.m. Bring the family, take a walk through Hawkins, see Max levitating above the yard, and get your photos with the 8-foot Demogorgon standing guard.

While you’re there, help feed the Demogorgon. Bring a food donation for the Reading Food Pantry and drop it in the bins next to him. Fair warning: he’s motion activated, so approach with courage. He doesn’t bite, but he does like to say hello. Any donation helps, and these items are especially needed right now:

  • Baking Soda

  • Laundry detergent

  • Toilet paper

  • Instant rice (white and brown)

  • Herbal tea

  • Muffin and bread mix
