(1-2 minute read)
Families expecting a child or raising young children are invited to attend “Bump, Baby, and Beyond,” a free community health and resource fair taking place on Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm in Lynnfield.
The event will be held at the Massachusetts Municipal Police Training Committee Building, 425 Walnut Street, and is open to the public.
Supporting families from pregnancy through early childhood
Hosted by the Middlesex Essex Public Health Collaborative, the event is designed to support families during pregnancy and the first three years of a child’s life.
The Collaborative includes the Health Departments of Andover, North Andover, Reading, North Reading, Haverhill, and Lynnfield. Together, these communities are working to expand access to public health resources and build healthier, more equitable communities across the region.
What to expect
Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with a wide range of local providers and organizations focused on maternal and child health. The event will feature:
Opportunities to meet healthcare providers and specialists
Information from local community organizations
Resources on health, wellness, safety, and early childhood development
Giveaways and family-focused materials
Time to ask questions and build connections
A welcoming space for families
Organizers say the goal is to create an accessible and supportive environment where families can find trusted information, connect with services, and feel confident navigating pregnancy and early childhood.
Admission is free, and the event is open to expecting parents, caregivers, and families with children ages 0-3.
Residents are encouraged to attend, explore available resources, and connect with others in the community.
