Friends of RPL seeks volunteers for annual House Tour event

(2-3 minute read)

The Friends of the Reading Public Library are seeking volunteers to help bring one of Reading’s most anticipated community events back this spring.

The Friends’ House Tour returns on Sunday, May 3, 2026, and organizers are encouraging residents to get involved - not just to support the library, but to be part of a fun and engaging community experience.

Volunteer needed for signature fundraiser

The bi-annual House Tour is the Friends’ largest fundraising event, supporting programs and services at the Reading Public Library that would not be possible without it.

Volunteers play a key role in the day’s success, helping welcome guests, assist at featured homes, and ensure the tour runs smoothly.
