Kids! Enter RPL's Library Card Design Contest with the theme: Reading is Revolutionary

Reading Public Library (RPL), Reading, MA—Calling all artists in grades K-7! Flex your creativity and celebrate 250 years of American independence by designing a new special edition library card.

The theme, Reading is Revolutionary, captures our community’s spirit during this historic year. Young artists will create a design on the theme to enter the contest and the winning design will be selected by the Board of Library Trustees. A limited edition library card with the winning design will be available in September for National Library Card Sign Up Month.

Designs must be submitted by April 30, 2026.

See the Reading Public Library website or ask a staff member for complete entry and design criteria.
