Koh announces nearly $1M raised in Q3
Dan Koh has raised a record $5.5 million without accepting corporate PAC money; his newly formed leadership PAC, Do the Work PAC, has raised nearly $140K to help elect Democrats across the country.
Peabody, MA – Today, Democratic nominee for Congress Dan Koh announced that he raised nearly $1 million in Q3, bringing his fundraising total to more than $5.5 million since launching his campaign for Massachusetts’ 6th Congressional District. His campaign committee raised over $710K, his newly formed leadership PAC raised nearly $140K, and he raised $110K for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, as part of Koh’s commitment to take back the House in November. The record-breaking fundraising is powered fully by individuals, all without accepting a dime of corporate PAC money.
“Every dollar we raise is a reminder that people across the Sixth District are ready for leaders who will fight for them, not special interests. I’m running to bring that fight to Washington, lower costs for working families, and stand up to an administration that is putting its own interests ahead of the people it serves. We’re building the kind of movement that can win this seat, help take back the House, and get to work delivering for Massachusetts on day one,” said Koh.
Koh has set fundraising records for the party this cycle, raising over $5.5 million since launch, with supporters giving a median contribution of $15 and individuals from 100% of the cities and towns in the district contributing to the campaign.
Following his primary victory, Koh launched Do the Work PAC, a leadership PAC dedicated to helping Democrats win back the House majority in November. The PAC has already raised nearly $140K and has supported 14 Democratic federal candidates in battleground districts across the country.
Koh is the Democratic nominee for Massachusetts’ Sixth Congressional District. He is endorsed by President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, Secretary Pete Buttigieg, and more than 100 local and national elected officials, unions, and community leaders. He has raised more than $5.5 million since launch, a record for a Massachusetts House candidate.
