Representatives cite Koh’s experience at every level of government and his fight to protect the programs working families depend on.
Peabody, MA – Today, Democratic State Representatives from Middlesex County announced their endorsement of Dan Koh in the general election for Massachusetts’ Sixth Congressional District.
The representatives highlighted Koh’s experience at every level of government and his commitment to fighting for the programs Sixth District families rely on. Rep. Kate Lipper-Garabedian emphasized “how important it is to have leaders who understand our communities and deliver results for the families they serve.” Rep. David Robertson said that Dan “has the experience and vision to bring people together, tackle the challenges facing our communities, and deliver results for working families.” Rep. Ken Gordon added, “As house chair of the Joint Committee on Education, I know that Dan Koh is committed to public education and making sure our schools give our students the best education possible.” “While this administration attacks the programs our families depend on,” said Rep. Richard Haggerty, “Dan is the fighter we need to stand up and deliver for the Sixth District.
Koh, whose campaign is focused on lowering costs for working families and standing up to the Trump administration, said the endorsement reflects the importance of strong partnerships between state and federal leaders.
“I’m proud to have the support of these hardworking state representatives who show up for their communities every day,” Dan said. “They know firsthand what families in Middlesex County are up against, from rising costs to threats to the health care and programs they count on. With Washington working against us, we need partners at every level of government fighting back. I look forward to working alongside them to lower costs, protect our rights, and defend our democracy.”
Koh is the Democratic nominee for Massachusetts’ Sixth Congressional District. He is endorsed by President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, Secretary Pete Buttigieg, and more than 100 local and national elected officials, unions, and community leaders. His campaign has raised more than $5.5 million since launch, a record for a Massachusetts House candidate.
