Poetry by Richard Perry: Are you listening?
Are You Listening?
Are you listening, God?
Do you hear my cry?
My heart is troubled;
And I don’t know why.
I watch the news;
With a tear in my eye;
I feel very lost;
Surely you must cry.
Help me make changes,
Before I must die;
So when I meet you,
I’ll understand why.
