Powered by Grassroots Momentum, Belsito Campaign Smashes Q2 Fundraising Goals

1200+ Unique donors contributed an average of $71

Digital buy for first ad spot, “Democrat Who Gets Stuff Done,” hits feeds July 7

Today, the Committee to Elect Jamie Belsito announced end-of-quarter fundraising results that strongly position the grassroots, people-powered campaign to reach voters ahead of the September 1 primary election for U.S. Congress.

The campaign more than doubled its Q1 fundraising totals, raising nearly $50,000 in the final five days of June alone. Contributions came from more than 1,200 unique donors, with an average donation of just $71; 70% of all contributions were for less than $30.

True to Jamie’s commitment to working families, the campaign proudly accepted $0 from AIPAC, Corporate PACs, Super PACs, weapons contractors, AI companies, Big Pharma or fossil fuel executives.

“This quarter, our supporters sent a strong, undeniable message: MA-6 is not for sale,” said Campaign Manager Betsy Speros. “While other campaigns rely on special interest money to stay afloat, Jamie’s candidacy is powered by the people. This incredible momentum gives us the resources we need to share Jamie’s track record of standing with working families and delivering real results for our communities.”

The surge in grassroots fundraising is already helping to deliver Jamie’s message across the district. Backed by the strong Q2 performance, the campaign's first digital ad, “Democrat Who Gets Stuff Done,” is now live across YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook and digital buys will increase substantially in early July. The spot highlights Jamie's commitment to fighting for the everyday needs of MA-6 residents.
