Public health alert: recall of ByHeart Infant Formula due to national botulism outbreak

The Reading Public Health Department is alerting residents that the FDA and CDC are investigating a national outbreak of infant botulism linked to ByHeart Whole Nutrition Infant Formula.
All lots of this product have been recalled. Parents and caregivers should immediately stop using any ByHeart Whole Nutrition Infant Formula in their possession.
If your infant has consumed this product and is showing any unusual symptoms, such as weakness, poor feeding, constipation, or difficulty breathing, contact your pediatrician immediately.
Residents are urged to dispose of the recalled formula safely and avoid purchasing or using any remaining stocks.
