RCTV invites community to Open House and Studio Tours

Residents are invited to get a behind-the-scenes look at local media production during an upcoming Open House at RCTV Studios.

The event will take place on Wednesday, April 2, at the studio’s location at 131 Main Street, Suite 103, and is open to community members interested in learning more about how local programming is created.

Drop in and explore

The open house will run from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, giving attendees the opportunity to:

  • Tour the studio

  • Meet staff and board members

  • Learn about opportunities to get involved with local media

Hands-on demonstrations

Throughout the evening, RCTV will host a series of mini sessions showcasing different aspects of production:

  • 4:30 pm - Mini Remote Camera Class

  • 5:30 pm - Mock Studio Shoot Tutorial

  • 6:30 pm - Mock Podcast Tutorial

These sessions are designed to give attendees a hands-on introduction to equipment and production techniques used in community television.

Learn how to get involved

Whether you’re interested in producing your own show, learning new technical skills, or simply curious about how local content is created, the open house offers a welcoming entry point.

RCTV provides residents with access to equipment, training, and a platform to share stories and information with the community.
