Reading DPW to host fall recycling event on October 3

Reading to clear out some items you’ve been holding onto this summer? The Town of Reading’s Department of Public Works is hosting its Fall Recycling Event on Saturday, October 3, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at the DPW Facility, 75 Newcrossing Road.

What residents can bring

The event, promoted by the town as a Public Works Community Event, gives residents a chance to drop off various items during a four-hour window at the DPW Facility. Accepted items include electronics, paper for shredding, rigid plastic, and Styrofoam.
