Reading Public Library to host ‘Connected Reading’ Open House

The Reading Public Library will host “Connected Reading: An Open House for Our Community” on Tuesday, October 13, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at 64 Middlesex Avenue. Organizers describe the drop-in event as open to everyone, whether a new resident, a longtime one who remembers the days of The Atlantic restaurant, or someone who arrived sometime in between.

What to expect

Attendees will have a chance to:

  • Meet representatives from town government and volunteer-led committees, schools, youth and faith-based groups, and community organizations

  • Discover Reading’s many resources, services, programs, and events

  • Enjoy refreshments and mingle with neighbors

Welcome bags for early arrivals

The first 50 attendees will receive a welcome bag filled with information and gifts from local businesses, limited to one bag per family.
