Select Board to host public meeting on MBTA Turnback Track project

The Town of Reading Select Board will hold a special public meeting on Monday, October 27, 2025, to discuss the MBTA’s proposed Turnback Track project and its potential impact on the community.
The meeting will take place at 7:00 pm at the Reading Memorial High School Performing Arts Center, providing space for residents, town officials, and MBTA representatives to share information and concerns about the proposal.
The Turnback Track project, part of the MBTA’s Commuter Rail system improvements, has raised questions locally about construction impacts, train frequency, and the effects on surrounding neighborhoods.
