The Reading Select Board will take the next step in the Town Manager Selection process on Monday, March 23, 2026, when members interview Acting Town Manager Jayne Wellman for the permanent position.

The interview is scheduled for 7:00 pm and will be conducted as part of a Select Board public meeting.

Public input encouraged

Only the Select Board will be permitted to ask questions during the interview, and residents are invited to participate by submitting their questions in advance.

Community members can email suggested questions to MBaptiste@Reading.gov.

Select Board members may, at their discretion, incorporate these submissions into the interview.
