SUPPORTERS, NEIGHBORS, AND MEMORIAL HIGH SCHOOL ALUMNI INVITED TO JOIN GRASSROOTS LAUNCH EVENT
Reading, MA — Returning to the community that helped shape her, Reading Memorial High School Class of 1991 graduate and hometown candidate Jamie Belsito will host a community kickoff event in Reading on Thursday, June 11, bringing together supporters, neighbors, volunteers, and local leaders to celebrate the launch of the people-powered campaign focused on affordability, health care, and representation for working families. Hosted at Cafe Capri in downtown Reading, the event will provide the opportunity for residents to meet Jamie, connect with fellow supporters, and learn more about Jamie’s vision for the Sixth Congressional District.

About Jamie Belsito
A proud Reading Memorial High School Class of 1991 graduate, Jamie Belsito served as a student council member and class officer at RMHS, experiences that sparked her commitment to public service. Jamie is a working mother, policy expert, and longtime advocate for democratic reform. A dedicated public servant, Jamie has been a voice for the voiceless on issues ranging from immigration and human rights to health care and bodily autonomy. As founder of the Maternal Mental Health Leadership Alliance, Jamie has advocated for national policy change to support mothers across the country, serving in our military, and secured more than $125 million in federal funding for maternal health programs. She is a former State Representative running for Congress to bring integrity, independence, and lived experience to Washington.
