The Town’s contracted tree service, AL Tree Service, will perform work throughout the Maillet, Sommes & Morgan Conservation Area at 62 Willow Street on Saturday, September 19, resulting in a full-day closure of the conservation area and its parking lot.

Work planned for Saturday

The work will address hazardous deadwood throughout the property and remove branches and tree leaders encroaching on the parking area and walking paths. AL Tree Service will chip and remove the wood and brush generated by the work and restore the walking paths once it is complete.

Closure in effect

For everyone’s safety, the conservation area and parking area will be closed throughout the day on Saturday, and residents are asked not to enter the park or parking area while tree work is underway.

The Town thanked residents in advance for their cooperation as the work is completed.
