Work in the Town Forest parking area is scheduled to begin Wednesday, Sept. 16, and will close Lot 5 for approximately three days while crews complete the project.

The work will connect a water line from Grove Street to Lot 5, install a water spigot for future landscaping maintenance, and add a water fountain. Lot 5 will be closed for the duration of the project, and access along Grove Street will be limited while the work is underway.

This project stems from a Conservation Commission budget request that came before the Select Board at its June 9, 2026, meeting.

Town officials thank residents for their patience while the work is completed.
