The Select Board met briefly on April 6, with the primary focus on finalizing the contract for Town Manager Jayne Wellman.
The meeting opened and immediately entered executive session to conduct strategy discussions and negotiations related to the Town Manager position.
After returning to open session, the Board voted 5-0 to approve an amended contract for Wellman, formally establishing the terms of her role following her recent appointment as Town Manager.
Wellman thanked the Board for their leadership and support following the vote.
The Board approved a separate motion to allow the use of electronic signatures to complete the contract process.
The meeting was limited in scope, focused on completing the Town Manager contract, and all actions received unanimous support.
