Bike Recycling & Free Give-Away returns May 8-9 - volunteers needed
(1-2 minute read)
Reading residents are invited to the Bike Recycling and Free Give-Away event, which is just around the corner, offering a chance to donate, volunteer, and help get bikes into the hands of community members.
The event, organized by ReadingCares, along with the Reading Climate Action Committee, the Reading Police Department, RMLD, and REI, will take place on Friday, May 8, and Saturday, May 9, at the RMLD facility on Ash Street.
Volunteers needed
Organizers are currently seeking additional volunteers to help ensure the event runs smoothly. From sorting and organizing bikes to assisting participants during the give-away, volunteers play a key role in making the event a success.
Those interested in helping are encouraged to reach out by email at ReadingCares01867@gmail.com.
Volunteers can expect a welcoming atmosphere, along with coffee, munkins, and the opportunity to connect with others in the community.
