Modular classrooms to move from Killam School to RMHS on July 23
(1 minute read)
Early Wednesday morning, July 23, contractors will relocate two modular classrooms from Killam Elementary School to the Reading Memorial High School (RMHS) campus. This work is part of ongoing preparations for the construction of the new Killam School building.
The move is scheduled to occur between 5:00 am and 7:00 am to minimize disruption to local traffic. While some commuters in the area may experience brief delays, the impact is expected to be minimal.
The planned transport route for the modulars begins with a left onto Charles Street from the Killam School driveway, followed by a right onto Main Street, a left onto Birch Meadow Drive, and finally a left onto Oakland Road, arriving at the RMHS campus. A police escort will be on hand throughout the relocation to ensure the safety of all involved and manage traffic flow.
Both modular classrooms are expected to be in place at RMHS by 7:00 am.
