Nahant DTC Chair Jim Walsh Endorses Dan Koh

“From Day One, he will know what to do and how to get it done,” says Walsh

Andover, MA – Today, Nahant Democratic Town Committee (DTC) Chair Jim Walsh announced his endorsement of Dan Koh in the Massachusetts 6th Congressional District primary.

"As a former Select Board member, Dan Koh’s local roots are honest and deep while, at the same time, he has worked at the top of the ladder in the White House and among those in Congress. He knows the system and has the intelligence and the background to make a positive and important impact in and for the 6th District and for our country. From Day One, he will know what to do and how to get it done. With his incredible energy, he will hit the ground running at a time in our history where his many skills are desperately needed," said Walsh.

Koh expressed his gratitude for the endorsement, emphasizing Chair Walsh’s decades of experience serving the Nahant community and the important role DTCs play in bringing communities together.

“I’m honored to have Chair Walsh’s endorsement in this campaign,” Koh said. "From a lifetime of advocacy and half a century committed to Nahant, Jim knows like I do that this moment demands more of our leaders. I've seen firsthand how DTCs across the district bring neighbors together, offering real spaces for residents to make their voices heard and shape the future of our communities. With a president who is trampling our Constitution and pricing more and more families out of the American Dream, we need the kind of experienced leaders who can not only fight back, but deliver on an agenda that improves lives for families in the Sixth District – and I’m determined to do just that.”

Koh’s campaign has gained critical momentum thanks to over 100 endorsements from local and national elected officials and community leaders, union locals, President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, and Secretary Pete Buttigieg, while raising a record-breaking $4.5M+ since launch, a record for an MA House candidate.
