Parking ban in effect ahead of possible snowfall

With snow in the forecast for late Tuesday into early Wednesday, the Reading Police Department has announced that the overnight street parking ban will be in effect from 1:00 am to 6:00 am on December 3 - if snow falls.

Forecasts vary widely, with predictions with predictions ranging anywhere from 1-3 inches to as much as 8-10 inches, and as Reading Police Department noted on their Facebook post, recent winters have taught us that “no one really knows” what will arrive. Out of an abundance of caution, residents are asked to keep vehicles off the street overnight to allow plows and emergency vehicles to operate safely.

The Reading Police Department thanks all residents in advance for their cooperation.
