A packed crowd gathered Saturday morning as Oasis Breakfast & Coffee celebrated its grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony at 454 Main Street in downtown Reading.

After a snowy delay pushed the event out of March, the Reading-North Reading Chamber of Commerce is bringing the celebration back this week - this time it is Aprilfest.

This was supposed to be our annual WinterFest celebration in March. Ironically, the amount of snow on the Reading Town Common caused the Chamber to postpone until we had enough space to hold the event.

After a winter filled with repeated snowstorms and accumulating snowfall, organizers have announced that Winterfest will be postponed due to conditions on the Town Common.
