Residents are invited to spend a day outdoors caring for local conservation land at this year’s Conservation Clean-Up Day on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at Maillet, Sommes & Morgan (MSM) Conservation area.

What volunteers will do

Volunteers will join neighbors to clear trails, pick up litter, and help make the space safer, cleaner, and more beautiful for everyone who uses it.

Parterre Garden Services to join

Parterre Garden Services will work side by side with residents during the event. The company has cared for MSM since it first opened and has agreed to take part in this year’s clean-up. Parterre staff will help guide volunteers and share their knowledge as everyone works together to get MSM ready for the season.

Questions

Residents with questions about the event can contact Chuck Tirone at CTirone@ReadingMA.gov or 781-942-6616.
