Washington and Prescott Street paving scheduled for October 15

The Town of Reading is advising residnets that beginning Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at 7:00 am, weather permitting, PJ Albert Inc. will be paving the binder mix on the following roads:

• Washington Street (from Woburn Street to Lincoln Street)

• Prescott Street (from Lincoln Street to Sunnyside Ave)

Residents should expect delays, detours, and temporary road closures throughout the day. If you need to use your vehicle during paving operations, please relocate it to a nearby street outside the work zone. On-street parking will be prohibited and strictly enforced by the Reading Police Department.

If paving coincides with your trash or recycling day, please have all items curbside by 6:30 am to ensure pickup.
