The Reading Recreation Division’s free children’s performance series continues this summer with Wednesday morning shows at Memorial Park.

The Reading Recreation Division is hosting a free summer concert series this July and August, bringing live music to Memorial Park on Sunday evenings.

Reading Memorial High School’s coaching staff and players will host a four-day Girls Lacrosse Clinic this summer, giving young athletes a chance to build skills and confidence on the field ahead of the upcoming season.

Reading Public Schools, the Reading Coalition for Prevention and Support, the Reading Recreation Division, Reading Public Library, and the Reading Police Department are launching the Let Grow Summer Independence Challenge.

The 8-week program returns to Coolidge Middle School is open to ages 10-15, no experience required.

All ages welcome on the shores of Lake Quannapowitt for an evening of casting lines and making memories.

Young teens interested in learning how to become responsible and confident babysitters will have the opportunity to build essential childcare skills at an upcoming Babysitter Training Workshop for ages 12-18.

With a wide variety of activities designed for children, teens, and adults, this year’s seasonal offerings provide something for everyone looking to learn new skills, stay active, or try a fun new hobby.

Reading families can once again share in a beloved holiday tradition as Reading Recreation launches its annual Letters to Santa program. Children are invited to drop off their custom letters to Santa Claus at the North Pole Express Mailbox, located just inside the Reading Recreation Office on the lower level of Town Hall.
